We had booked a great trip in the border triangle: Nepal, Buthan, India through geoDiscovery Tours in April 2024. Many thanks to Ms. Kolay for her great advice and all her efforts in organizing this special trip. Any time. We can highly recommend geoDiscovery Tours and especially Ms. Kolay’s patient efforts. Per se, we travel the world and have rarely had the service and support that Ms. Kolay provided. Thanks for that.
The two of us were on a private trip. The reception in all countries was warm from our support team. The guides and drivers were professional and at the same time traditional in their demeanor and were able to tell us a lot about their country and culture. Great respect for our travel teams.
The accommodations were: 3* (stars) and all very fine and very well chosen. Everything you needed was offered and the location with wonderful views over the valleys was great.
Many thanks to Ms. Kolay and your entire team for our unforgettable, great trip.

If you are looking for a safari provider who organizes a perfect safari, geoDiscovery Tours is the right place for you. We did a 7 day safari in Tanzania at the end of December and we are still blown away! From the very first conversation with geoDiscovery Tours we felt very well advised and very comfortable. And our good feeling shouldn’t deceive us, everything was perfectly organized. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful at all times. The accommodations during the safari were great and the route was perfectly planned. Our guide during the safari was just great! We can only rave about the trip and recommend geoDiscovery Tours 100%. Value for money is absolutely right here! One thing is certain for us: we will be back! Many thanks to Ms. Kolay & the whole team in Tanzania, you made our honeymoon perfect!

It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish and pretty much exactly what we had in mind! Everything went smoothly, but above all Laxman, Dipu, Arun and the other locals were the real core of this trip and took great care of it. We couldn't have asked for better company! Annapurna Circuit – the route was fascinating

You made our trip a very special event! Thank you very much!

Right from the start, thanks to the special care provided by Ms. Kolay, who always answered all of our questions and responded flexibly to all of our requests, we almost felt like family. Answers came promptly and the anticipation of this very special journey grew with each passing day!

In Kathmandu itself, everything went so smoothly as if we were the only guests. Even when the trip had to be rescheduled due to bad weather in Lukla, we were involved with our local guide and a new route was worked out for us. I've done a lot of travel, but I've never experienced it in such a caring and professional manner. A thousand thanks for the exceptional care and almost family-like communication!! You have made us perfectly happy!

The route was fantastically fascinating and impressive from day one! In advance in Kathmandu, our guide checked our equipment with us and gave us great advice when shopping for the last things in Thamel. Great, so we were well prepared for the challenge. 5400 m was something special for us as North Germans! At all times guide and Sherpas were supportive on the common route: the helping hand with waterfalls that were crossed, the question about the cup of tea or the health tips about the high altitudes. Super competent team!! We were always given the time we needed. Staying in the Annapurna region and the relaxed nature of our team have made a lasting contribution to deep relaxation and deceleration in the clear air with a bright blue sky and white mountains. The longing is already growing again - and it will not be the last trip to Nepal with geoDiscovery Tours.

In our accommodations during the trekking we got to know the typical simplicity and concentration on the essentials. Our hosts invited us for tea in the kitchen, chatted with us and always made us feel very welcome. Our guide also contributed to this, who was happy to translate one or the other chat. The delicious food strengthened us and with great appetite we not only tried dhal bat, but also other delicacies of Nepalese cuisine.

So we dived deep into the life of Nepal, which was rounded off by cultural highlights in Kathmandu, Patan Bhaktapur and Pokhara with technically very experienced city guides. We will never forget your friendly smile.

The memory of that time brings a smile to our face and makes us feel the deep tranquility of the land and people. Namaste!

Usually, booking long-distance trips with an organization and extra guides is not our thing at all. But this trip, together with geoDiscovery Tours, showed that you shouldn’t generalize – and not just because of the uncertainties caused by Corona. It was the best decision to do the tour with a local guide and porter! Our guide gave us so many cultural insights, explained things and answered questions about the country, culture and people that just made the tour and trek around the Annapurna massif even more beautiful.
We will never forget your helpfulness, hospitality and warmth towards us! Heartfelt thanks to the entire geoDiscovery Tours team who took care of us and our well-being before, during and after the tour.

Hakunamatata!

Pole Pole. I took this and all the other attitudes towards life with me from my trip in Tanzania. I hardly had the time and nerve to take care of such a profound and complex undertaking and yet I really wanted to escape the winter, go on a trip and climb the highest mountain in Africa. Working with geoDiscovery Tours made it really easy! And the plan worked perfectly: 3 weeks in Tanzania only me, without friends but in the best of hands. With Abraham’s group, I was first initiated into the culture, the food, the language, the history and the art. Every different wish was granted to me, e.g. a visit to the stall market to see the people in Arusha. In addition, a great hotel was booked through that I was also very happy! Everything was perfectly organized, the group porter, guide, cook, waiter went up Mt. Meru for 4 days and then 6 days via the Marangu route to Kili. Thanks to the team who looked after and fed me well, I was strong and motivated enough. It was a lot of fun with the group, we ate together, laughed, learned from each other and sang. And they have surprised me again and again! At my request, a day safari could also be booked without any problems (modular principle). In the end I was brought to the airport for my onward journey, and even then, when I still had my problems with the return flight, etc. Abraham (Arusha) and Kolay (Germany) were there to help me. I can only recommend it, especially since it is not allowed to climb Kili without a team. Asante geoDiscovery Tours!

My dream was to see the highest mountain in the world up close before my 50th birthday. So it came about that I looked around the internet for a suitable organization that could make my dream come true. I was finally able to start my trip in April 2019. The dream could be put into practice, but I still experienced the whole thing like a dream. My expectations were exceeded, my impressions, experiences, my astonishment at the mightiness of nature, my emotions, my feelings of happiness can hardly be put into words. After my return from this trip I was changed, I was more grateful, more humble but also more addicted. Addicted to a new experience. It was clear to me that my addiction could only be satisfied by geoDiscovery Tours again. I could convince partner with my descriptions ;-). So we decided to go on a trekking tour together with a paraglider in Kyrgyzstan. geoDiscovery Tours immediately set about making our plan and ideas possible. After the OK was happily received, we continued to train our fitness so that we were physically and mentally prepared for the trip. It should start in mid-August 2020. Travel paid, flights booked, top fit and full of anticipation. Due to the sad events as a result of the corona pandemic, our trip had to be canceled at the beginning of June 2020. We are very sad about it, but postponing is not canceled, we will stick with it and make up the trip! The quick, uncomplicated and professional (as always) action of geoDiscovery Tours helped over our sadness. The money for the paid trip has already been refunded to us in full. We would like to thank the team of geoDiscovery Tours from the bottom of our hearts! We wish the team a lot of strength and energy that your company will continue to exist despite the circumstances. I think travel will change fundamentally but you will stay in our hearts and you will remain our valued tour operator for hopefully future adventures. Good Morning from Kathmandu Miss Kolay.Sitting in the plane waiting to start of to Dubai and then home to Germany. I want to use the time to write you our deepest thank you for this wonderful and beautiful vacation. Starting with the professional and hearty Organisation of the journey from the booking beginning to the very end at the airport, we always felt safe, welcomed and hold like a guest and friend. Not only your own personality always being open for help and questions all your working staff has been great. With Mingmar, Maite and Ashok we had the best team ever. Always professionell, helpful, polite, patient and funny we had the best time. Migmar is the best guide for women.He knows how to handle. You teached him very well. Thank you very much again for everything. You and your team did a beautiful and high professionell job. Highly recommended.

Nepal has mesmerazied me

Thank you for the great organization of the trip and to the guides and porters on site for the care.
The Gokyo-Ri-Trek was an incomparable experience in a fantastic nature. The climb to the Gokyo Ri was exhausting, but the view of Mount Everest in the sunset has more than compensated for this. The country has mesmerized me. I will definitely come back and make the next trip safe with you.
